About Us

Rachelle and Bob Willows are a 4th generation ranching family in Central Alberta, located near Winfield. We currently raise two herds of Highland Cattle and have a registered herd as well as a commercial herd. Both herds are serviced by a registered Highland bull so on our commercial side it is just our females that are grade highlands. We find this allows for more options for our client's who are looking to add Highland Cattle to their farming operations.

Our Highlands are all calm easy going animals that all except for a few, enjoy a brush in the field which makes them exceptionally easy to handle. They are a true joy to have on the ranch. We have recently added digital prints that are available for purchase as well so that even if you don't have space in your yard for a Highland you can still enjoy their beauty on your walls.

In addition to raising Highlands, Rachelle also sells peony roots in the fall and when she is not busy with the ranch and gardening you can find her creating custom jewelry with her business Rachelle Willows Design. This has been a wonderful opportunity that allows Rachelle to have the freedom to work on the farm as well as have a creative outlet.
